Blogging is our way to get our jitters out and let you know what is happening at CLIMB Works. This blog is for the customer-we-saw-last-year who can’t wait to come back. Or the pure zipline enthusiast that can’t get enough. The friend of a friend whose family had a friend who once visited CLIMB Works, twice removed.
This blog is for those proud CLIMB Works t-shirt wearers, those proud parents of a CLIMB Works employee, or even that random person surfing the Internet who just stumbled upon our blog.
This blog is for anyone who had a great experience at CLIMB Works Canopy and wants to learn more about who we are and what we do. The people who overcame their fear of heights and truly understand what it means to CLIMB. But it’s even for the fanatics who send us requests to make CLIMB Works underwear.
This blog is for those Boston Red Sox fans that need anything to get their mind off September 28, 2011, or anybody who needs a healthy distraction from the game we call life. But whoever you are and wherever you come from, welcome to the family.
For those of you not familiar with CLIMB Works, we are much more than a zipline company. We are a young, energetic company with blinders on (what down economy?). We really believe our mission statement: Challenge. Learn. Inspire. Master. Believe. By CHALLENGING ourselves, we step out of our comfort zones and LEARN new things. We then are INSPIRED to keep going and pushing and trying until we MASTER whatever it is in our lives that may have been holding us back. We then BELIEVE. In ourselves. In others. In something. Ziplining’s our way to get you to embrace a new CHALLENGE, so you can learn how to CLIMB in every aspect of your life.
This blog will give you an intimate look into who we are, what we’re about, what makes us happy, what we’re up to, and pretty much anything else we can think of. So stay tuned and stay in touch.
Until next time.
Challenge. Learn. Inspire. Master. Believe.
…Always C.L.I.M.B.

We totally enjoyed the ziplining there and have recommended it to everyone we know coming to Gatlinburg. It was a lot of fun, scenery was great, staff very friendly.
My husband & visited in December and we had a blast! We will be visiting CLIMB Works on all of our return visits to Gatlinburg. I challenged myself & thanks to you guys I overcame my fear of heights & had a blast! Ziplining with you all was AWESOME!
Great Blog! I love CLIMB Works! You guys are the best!
Love the new blog and love CLIMB Works!!!
How safe for an 11 year old. Would love to come. How long is 1 ride and can they stop themselves when they get to the destination? Look so much fun!
Very safe! Safety is our number one priority – whether for adults or for kids. You and your 11 year old will not have to worry about braking or stopping yourselves. Our zip lines are constructed in a way where you can enjoy the views while your guide and gravity team up to make sure you have a smooth landing. Also, our tour is not 1 ride, but 9 different zip lines. It takes about 2 1/2 hours to complete and once you get up on the first platform your feet don’t touch the ground for that entire time. First time to Gatlinburg will be in April and after booking our rooms, the next thing I did was book our CLIMB Works Canopy Tour.Your tour is highly rated by TripAdvisor.Every post on it recommends your tour over the less expensive tours. Can’t wait to be ZipLining ! MIKE
I recently experienced the zip line tour with my kids. It was a great experience and Sara keep up the comedy and personality, that whats makes a difference in a trip and an adventure to remember. You can sometimes forget things that you do (especially at my age) but the people will always make a lasting impression. You and Thomas did a great job, keep up the good work

Sara and Turley you made our firt zip trip a blast! I don’t know how I will ever find another location to compare. I have not stopped telling everyone back home about Climb Works.
Six of us including 4 children zip lined on April 10th and had the time of our lives! We want to thank Reid and Cierra for being awesome guides and making it such a memorable experience. We will HIGHLY recommend CLIMBWORKS to anyone visiting Gatlinburg.
Climb works is the best! We visited on Saturday,April 14, and had Paul and Reid as our guides. They put us all at ease immediately and made the whole experience so entertaining….they had us all zipping upside down before the afternoon was over….can we get a day pass and do it again?????
Glad you had a wonderful time! On Facebook we have drawings and trivia and we give away a lot of free stuff – sometimes even free passes. So like us on Facebook and look for opportunities to win!
I want to give a big thanks to Tim & Ryan, They were great guides for the zip lining experience. They made it fun and exciting and very safe . They were great with Rylie. We enjoyed it so much.
My boyfriend and I are both locals, so we were pretty sure we had already done everything worth doing in Gatlinburg. So when we saw the CLIMBworks zipline ad we said ‘Now that looks pretty awesome!’. It went completely beyond expectations and we had an absolute blast!! Thank you so much Cierra and Paul for all the great info and not letting us hit any trees LOL. Can’t wait to come do it all over again!
We had a GREAT time at Climbworks Zip Line on June 19, 2012. Our group was great and the two tour guides were GREAT. (Kevin and Ryan). We will be back next year for another great morning of Zip lining!

My wife and I visited on June 20,2012 with her brother and his wife. The four of us had soooo much fun zip-lining for the first time!! A big thanks to Dave and Tim for doing an awesome job as our guides. I will highly recommend CLIMB Works to anyone who wants to zipline and plans to visit Gatlinburg!!!
June 27, 2012 . Just had the best time this morning ziplining. Mike and Shanna were great guides. I will recommend climbworkscanopy to everyone. Awesome experience and would come back I’m a heartbeat
We had an excellent time. It was entertaining and we learned a lot. It was definitely worth the cost. The guides were very safety conscience and engaging to their clients. We definitely return. One suggestion, cut the price of the t-shirls form $30 down to $10 I think you would sell a lot more of them and they are a walking advertisement for the business.
I see the youth pricing lists the age range starts at 8. Is there an opportunity for a 6 year old to go (tandem)? Thank you.
I am sorry the youngest we will allow is 8 years old. Although there are some 6 year olds very capable of going through the course without any fear at all, we feel the maturity of age 8 is better for our course. Let us know if you have any other questions or you can email us at info@climbworks.com.
Just got back from here!!! Absolutely incredible company and amazing experience. Guides were wonderful, friendly, energetic, talkative and just down right seemed to care about me and my experience on the line. I will defeintely be going back to Climb Works in the Smokies and I will highy, highly recommened these place to family and friends. Keep up the great work!!!!

Our family visited Gatlinburg last week & had a blast ziplining! Our guides, Dave & Audrey were great! It was so much fun and the views from the treetops are amazing! Can’t wait to return and Zipline again in the Smokys!
Ziplining was so AWESOME at Climbworks! My two daughters (24 and 16), my husband and I ziplined on July 17, 2012. We had Adam and Kristin as our guides. They were kind, funny, and safety-conscience. They made us feel at ease and welcome, “just like family”, (even this old 51-year-old- mama). The views were great and we all really loved our experience! It was worth the cost and my daughters love their Climbworks sweatshirts we bought there (very soft and comfy). Thanks also to Sara for helping us with directions on the road. Climbworks!
Just left Climbworks with my 12 year old son. This was the best activity we have ever done! Anyone visiting the area needs to experience this. Great staff and unbelievable experience. I’m hooked will return every year if possible. Thanks for a great time Climbworks.

I was there with some family and it was our first time to zipline! It was amazing! We loved every minute of it and wished it was longer! A huge thank you to our guides Thomas and Bennet you two rock! Yall made the experience a blast that i will nevet forget! We are already making plans to come back this winter!
I book at canopy tour for myself, my sister and my 11 yr old nephew for the labor day weekend. It was the highlight of our vacation and now my nephew wants a job at Climb Works when he grows up. Our guides made the tour that much more incredible. We are already looking forward to our next trip.
Thanks CLIMB Works for an amazing zip line adventure. Hubby and I came down for a long Labor Day weekend and were excited to zipline again this year. Tried CLIMB Works for the 1st time and won’t go back to anyone else! Loved it! Long zip lines, nice not to have to use a hand break system, really knowledgable/friendly guides and a great time! Have already started talking to those that I know that want to zipline for the 1st time or want to go again and will continue to refer them to CLIMB Works.
Wow! I did it with the help of Cierra holding my hand and all the group we were with inspiring me on. I am truly afraid of heights at least being up in the open with nothing to hold to and looking traight down. Starting each start for me (only me) was with eyes closed. The last zip I did have eyes open and I know when I do again I will relax a little more and love the ride. All in the group loved it were patient with me learning to trust the unknown adventure. Master not yet but in time. Yes for me it was a hugh Challenge the mission statement is perfect. I hope all that visit this site will let the best in the business prove to you how wonderful they are.
